After a few minutes, Peyton loved the pool. We couldn't get her to stop drinking the water though!!

Roark Family Picnic - June 2008

Every June, the whole Roark clan gets together for a big family picnic (there are A LOT of people in the family!!). There's lots of food, beer, games, croquet, volleyball, and catching up. This is Greg's family minus Ryan, Christi, Riley, and Corey (his brother and family).

So far this is the first and last time that Peyton has used her spoon correctly. Hopefully she'll figure it out again soon.

Usually Peyton likes to drive mommy and daddy crazy by standing on her rocking chair (which was mommy's when she was little) instead of sitting, but right now she's focused on a video and her cracker.

Goodbye to my beloved Molly -- Dec. 1991 - April 16, 2008

I was devastated to find out that my Molly cat had throat cancer this month. Except for when I was up at school, she was my constant companion for 16 years and I loved her dearly. The vet was nice enough to come to the house to put her to sleep, so she got to be in a comfortable environment (she was always so scared to go to the vet) and sitting on my lap. I miss her so much...

What is this thing?? Unfortunately we didn't get pictures of Molly and Peyton together since Molly was always a little perturbed that Peyton came along and took some of my attention away (and she wasn't too keen on having her hair pulled). She did eventually let Peyton hug her sometimes (just not in time for me to get the camera).

It's my baptism day -- today I was dedicated to Jesus Christ, yea!! Lots of other babies and kids were too.

I think this basket is just the right size for me. I love climbing in it and can get to it easily since I'm walking now.
